Wind the boat fallmanually to take off the slack. Pull out the safety pin of the davit arm stop, if fitted. Note: Safety pins are generally intended only for use duringmaintenance or in port. 2. Release the davit arm stop by operating the handle. 3.5 Boarding the lifeboat 1. Confirm that the remote controlwire is drawn into the lifeboat. 2.
