Background

New SOLAS regulation III/17-1 requirements came into force on July 1st, 2014 requiring all ships to have ship-specific plans and procedures for the recovery of persons from the water. Scope of this plan is to provide guidance for the Development of Plans and Procedures for Recovery Techniques and Cold Water Survival, fully complying with IMO Requirements.
